The Audition Form
At your first audition for the production, you will need to fill out and sign an audition form.
Parts of the form:
- A section for vital contact information, like your phone number and email address. Please print clearly.
- Space for a summary of previous experience, and any special talents you might bring to the show.
- A section about performing union affiliation.
- The role(s) for which you are auditioning.
- Questions asking if you will allow the directorate to consider you for a different role, and if you would like to be part of the chorus if not selected for a principal role. Answer these carefully!
- Space to list commitments that may conflict with your rehearsals for the show. This is used more for schedule planning once you're a member of the cast.
- Production areas that you will be helping in, like set construction, painting, costume construction, props, etc. All cast members must help out in at least oe of these areas. See the page on cast member responsibilities for details.
- A statement of your commitment to the production.
- Your signature.
